Sartoria Vergallo

Born in 1943 and still true to the tradition of the well-known Salentine tailoring school, Sartoria Vergallo is making a name for itself as one of the fastest growing bespoke tailors in Italy and abroad thanks to its close-knit team and its entrepreneurial vision.
Since 1943…
The tailor’s shears once owned by Carmelo Vergallo, founder of Sartoria Vergallo, are still used today by his grandson Gianni

Sartoria Vergallo was founded by Carmelo Vergallo, the grandfather of Sartoria Vergallo’s Master tailor Gianni. In the seventies Licia Vergallo, Carmelo’s daughter and Gianni’s mom, takes over from her father, helping shape Sartoria Vergallo distinctive house style and laying the ground for the third generation. After nearly 70 years from its foundation, thanks to Gianni’s vision for a modern bespoke tailoring house, Sartoria Vergallo open up to the European market with regular trunk shows in London, Zurich and Lugano.
